Areas Served

Our chapter will serve the Olympia, WA area and the surrounding regions within a 60-90 mile radius. This includes key cities such as Lacey, Tumwater, Shelton, and further out to Yelm and Centralia. Our goal is to address cardiovascular health by reaching out to diverse communities across this region, providing education, resources, and support for both healthcare professionals and patients.

Chapter Background

Deanna Hawkins, BSN, RN is the current President of the Western Washington Chapter. With experience in preventative care and patient education, her passion lies in improving cardiovascular health outcomes in my community. The establishment of this chapter aims to foster collaboration among nursing professionals dedicated to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. We aspire to provide continuing education, enhance awareness of risk factors, and develop community outreach programs that promote heart health strategies. Our ultimate goal is to empower nurses with the knowledge and tools necessary to make a substantial impact on cardiovascular health.
